A wedding and two bridal shows...

Before I get to the images for this blogpost, I need to announce a couple of bridal shows that we will be attending.  The first one is right here in Lawrence!  It's tomorrow(late notice, sorry!) at the Holiday Inn Convention Center from 11am-3pm, and it's free.  Come say hello, look at our stuff, and book your wedding with us!  If you mention that you saw this post, we'll even give you a super sweet, bridal show special deal!  Serious!

Okay, so the next bridal show we'll be at is the 94.9 Bridal Show in Topeka, KS(website), on January 26-27.   If you're in Topeka and you're looking for a stellar photographer couple, you better come by and visit us.(although, you might want to call me sooner, because our dates are filling up! 785-424-3579)  I'll post more reminders about this as it gets closer...

Now for some wedding images...

This is Sean and Amy.  They were a super fun loving couple and we had a blast photographing their big day.  The wedding and reception were both held at Abe and Jakes, a super cool old building right on the Kansas River here in Lawrence.  Took a sweet set of images for their "first look" and I love how their friends can be seen watching through the windows in the background.  Got some really fun images of the group at their favorite local bar The Replay Lounge.  There were cupcakes, dancing, and loads of smiles.  We couldn't have asked for more.  Have a look!

Libby and John

Hello out there!  This wedding season has been quite busy and somehow I managed to find a little bit of spare time to get a blog post done.  So, let's get right to it!

This was a  sweet little wedding that we shot a little while back in Kansas City.  Libby and John were super cute and the venues they picked for the day made for some really great images.  The ceremony was at St. John's Methodist, which happens to be my favorite church to shoot at in KC.  I'm usually shooting in really dark spaces, but natural light just pours into that place, making my job a little easier.  The reception was at The Berg, a super cool loft space near downtown. 

This was a really fun day.  Bride and groom had a blast with their friends and family and we were there to document it.  Have a look at some images...

Shelby and Nick
